January 18 meeting of the President of the Association of Austrian Aviation Association Mario Rehulka Baku with President of SKAL-club Ruslan Guliyev.
Summing up the expiring year 10th anniversary session of the Baku SKAL-club which has passed in capital hotel Qafqaz Point, has collected record quantity of the participants representing all players of tourist branch of the country and also the Ministries of culture and tourism, Association of tourism, Institute of tourism and the mass media which are taking up questions of development of domestic tourism.

On passing in Baku solemn meeting dedicated to the World Tourism Day, the ceremony of presentation of National Tourism Award in 2011 Azerbaijan, Baku established tourist information center. In the nomination "For contribution to the development of education in the field of tourism," Honor Award was awarded the Baku SKAL-club.
In «Grand Hotel Europe Baku» was held a regular 8th meeting of Baku SKAL-Club, a member of the International Association of Travel and Tourism Professionals SKAL. In the beginning of the meeting participants, in a minute of silence, remembered the memory of the victims of Khojaly tragedy.
The next Skal meeting was spend in Hotel Excelsior and this meeting observed the results of current year. Ruslan Guliyev the President of Skall International club made welcoming speech and congratulated his fellow workers with New Year and express his gratitude for taking active part in organization activity.
The next sixth Skal meeting was spend at Azerbaijan University of Tourism and by the opinion of meeting participates was very active. The notification of the day consisted of 8 points and all of them had a great interest.
On the first October at Sun Rise hotel the fifth session of Baku Skal club took place. The opening of session was made by the president of skal club Ruslan Guliyev who is a director of Millennium tourism company.
The next fourth meeting of the SKAL International Baku Club has taken place in hotel "Olimpic" which is situated in settlement Novkhany. First of all meeting start with the report about the work done after the third session and discussion of activity of club in beginning of summer season

Skål is a professional organization of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry. Its members, the industry’s managers and executives, meet at local, national, regional and international levels to discuss and pursue topics of common interest.
The first Club was founded in 1932 in Paris by travel managers, following an educational tour of Scandinavia. The idea of international goodwill and friendship grew and, in 1934, the “Association Internationale des Skål Clubs” was formed with Florimond Volckaert as its first President, who is considered the “Father of Skål”.
Skål International today has approximately 20,000 members in 480 Clubs throughout 89 nations. Most activities occur at local level, moving up through National Committees, under the umbrella of Skål International, headquartered at the General Secretariat in Torremolinos, Spain.
Skål International is governed by an Executive Committee of seven members, elected by delegates to an annual General Assembly, held during the World Congress, hosted by a different country each year. This allows members first-hand observation of the travel and tourism potential around the world.
